Technology used for conservation such as camera traps, passive acoustic monitoring sensors, and drones all yield vast amounts of data. To support conservationists dealing with large image and video datasets from camera trap and drones I have co-founded ConservationAI. Together with my colleagues in ConservationAI we develop and test machine learning algorithms to detect and classify animals in images and videos.
