  1. Serge,
I completed my BSc in Conservation Biology and my Msc in Surveying at the University of Exeter, Penryn Campus. My MSc dissertation focused on UAVs and I am now the Aerial Division Manager for a surveying company based in West Sussex. I just wanted to say that I am very much looking forward to your keynote speech on UAVs in Conservation at the Penryn Campus in July. Your research is a personal interest of mine and it would be great to meet you.

  2. Mr Wich,
I’m a PhD from the University of Warsaw and a teacher at the University Omar Bongo of Libreville (GABON, Central Africa). My research focused on using UAVs and I’m now mounting an Aerial group for surveying the oil palm cultivation expansion based in Libreville-GABON. I just wanted to say that I am very much looking forward to your publications on UAVs in Land-cover change are leading to major declines in tropical biodiversity. Your research constitue a personal interest and it would be great to meet you and probably work together for the struggle on palm oil plantations expansion.

  3. I came across your name in an article released in 2015 about silent drones, and I was wondering if you had any you would recommend testing? It would be for indoor use only, and I’m trying to keep it small, but silent is key. If there are any you would think are worth checking, could you please let me know?

Thank you – for your reply and for all your research efforts!

    • Hi Jim,
I do not know much about this other then that DJI has produced props to make the Mavic a bit less noisy. They do help a bit it seems based on the few times I heard one fly with these props. But inside I think it will still sound quite loud.
      Best,
      Serge
